Karla was born and raised in Los Angeles. She moved to San Diego in 2006 and right away she entered the veterinary field, which she found to be her passion. Karla loves the team at VCA 4 Paws and enjoys building our little hospital family, since we have all worked here such a long time. Karla is the first to jump in an emergency and help where she can. She also secretly loves stealing puppies and kittens for cuddle time when she can.  In her free time Karla loves spending time with her spouse getting fries and burgers, going to the dog park with their puppy, and spending time with family in San Diego and LA. Karla and Annet have a rescue pup, Freddie, and cats - Mitters and Brodie. Karla also has a secret obsession with pimple popping if anyone can relate! Karla has also toyed with the idea of becoming an ortho technician - so bring all your orthopedic cases to her! Come say hi!
