Desiree joined the VCA All Pets Salinas team in 2022. Her favorite parts about working in the veterinary field are all of the interesting/ challenging cases and her ability to be a voice for innocent animals. She became interested in veterinary medicine because she has always had a passion for animals and training them. 

She has two pets, a 1-year-old Cane Corso named Samson and a 6-year-old black cat named Bat. In her free time, Desiree enjoys riding her motorcycle and taking Samson on hikes while avoiding those dangerous foxtails! A goal she hopes to accomplish is to own her own medical or boarding facility or to organize a rescue for pets in need.
