Born and raised in Sitka, Alaska, Dr. Clement obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a special interest in molecular biology and biochemistry at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After graduating,  he had the honor to become a member of the inaugural class of the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Colorado State University Joint 2+2 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program, achieving the rare opportunity of an Alaskan DVM education.

As a recent graduate of the DVM program, Dr. Clement joined VCA Alpine with excitement ,having returned to Alaska, and determination to provide a positive impact in the lives of both people and animals. Through compassionate and progressive veterinary services, Dr. Clement's  focus is on the wellbeing and quality of life for his patients. He can be seen volunteering and providing spay and neuter, vaccines, and education for underserved and underrepresented communities. His particular interests include internal medicine, shelter medicine, dermatology, and exotic animal medicine.

In Dr. Clement's free time, he spends time with his wife, three children, their Australian Shepherd named Korra, and rabbit named Bunnymaru.
