Originally from the UK, Dr. Muir graduated from Edinburgh University's Royal School of Veterinary Studies in 2009. Since graduating, his 14 year small animal veterinarian career has led him all over the world. He worked in Colorado for over two years before moving to New Zealand, where he spent the next four years working and exploring the beautiful nature there. He then crossed over to Australia, where he enjoyed six years working all over the country and became a proud Australian citizen in 2021. He's been back in the USA the last couple of years and we're very happy he's become our newest member of VCA Alton Road since October 2023.

Dr. Muir lives here on Miami Beach and loves spending his free time outdoors in nature. He loves sports and staying healthy, is a big Arsenal fan, a keen disc golf player, a lover of travel and exploring the world. He also enjoys photography and is a very good drone pilot.
