Jena has been at VCA Animal Care since May of 2009. She has been in the veterinary field since 1996 and is attending school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician as well as a Dog Trainer/ Instructor. Through out the years of working in the Veterinary field, she has worked in all areas of the hospital but have spent most of her time as an Assistant. As the Technical Supervisor, she plays many roles in the hospital. She helps with pre/post care of all surgery patients, patient care in exam rooms, educating clients and in charge of ordering all medical supplies. She takes pride in the fact that she's continuing her education to receive her LVT and Dog Training License, so she can be more of an asset to her hospital and be able to help animals in many different ways. Jena has three dogs, a chihuahua named Layla Ann, and two pitbulls named Quinn and Georgia. She also has two cats named Dylan James and Sophie. She enjoys hiking, camping, zumba, Crossfit, spending time at the beach, participating in charity events, and most importantly playing with her animal companions.
