Dr. Yolmari Denney is a Puerto Rican native but raised in the states and speaks fluent English and Spanish. She obtained her DVM degree from St. Matthew's University in the Cayman Islands and her clinical training at the University of Georgia. She's been with VCA since graduating in 2013 and transferred to Pasadena August of 2022. She moved here from Arizona with her husband and young son.

Dr. Denney enjoys veterinary medicine since it combines her love for pets, people, and science and her veterinary interest include dermatology, gastroenterology, and wound care. Her past times include spending time with family, cleaning/organizing, swimming, dancing, watching movies, and exploring the different cuisines in the Houston area.
