Emmett has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician in Chicago since he graduated from Fox College in August of 2018. He is a lifelong animal lover and when he told his family he wanted to go to school to become a veterinary technician it was only a surprise to him! Emmett joined the team at VCA Ark as the Veterinary Technician Supervisor in April of 2024 after spending the early years of his career gaining experience at various small animal hospitals. He has a passion for sharing his knowledge by teaching and coaching skills, especially the ones that he struggled with when he was a fresh grad but loves to do now, like venipuncture and endotracheal intubation. 

When Emmett is not at work, you can find him snuggling with his mixed breed rescue from One Tail at a Time, Champer, at a farmer's market searching for the best in-season produce to cook up a delicious meal for friends, or attending a punk show. He also likes to read and has recently rekindled a love for the ceramic arts.
