I started working at VCA Arroyo when I was 18, it was actually my first job ever! I left VCA Arroyo in 2009 because I attended Cal Poly Pomona with the intent on working towards Vet School. During that 5 years I worked at VCA Aacacia because it was much closer and at that time I had decided to change my path in what I wanted to do with my career. I finished Cal Poly Pomona with a BS in Biology and a minor in Animal Science and knew that I now wanted to be an RVT and possibly get into management in the future. I was very fortunate to get to transfer back to my first home, VCA Arroyo, in 2014 and I have loved being back! I have been with VCA for over 7 years now and have had nothing but a great experience and have been so fortunate to have gotten to work with such great teams.
Currently I am taking classes at Heritage College working towards my RVT license to become a technician and do what I love, which is caring for and helping animals. On the side I have also coached girls volleyball full time at the High School and Club level for the past 7 years and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. When I'm not at school, work, or in the volleyball gym I'm probably surfing, snowboarding, hiking, or at the dog beach with my handsome dog Boone. I have been very blessed with all the adventures I have had in my life and I can't wait for the many more ahead!
