Jess first received a Bachelors in Animal Science and a minor in Equine Science from Penn State University before eventually deciding to switch to small animal medicine. She then attended the Vet Tech Institute here in Pittsburgh. She is interested in radiology and client education.

Jess grew up in Western PA and joined VCA Bakerstown Animal Hospital in June of 2018. Her love of animals began growing up around the many large animals of her grandparent’s farm, and increased with every trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her German Shepherd Micah, sitting down with a good book, and planning trips with her family.
