Dr. Caryl Dailey grew up in Westport, Connecticut and graduated from Staples High School in 1982. She then went on to Smith College and obtained her BA in biochemistry in 1986. After college, she decided to take a break from school and worked as a laboratory technologist first in Boston, then at various locations around the country. She then decided to go to veterinary school and was ultimately accepted to the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with her DVM with honors, in 1998. After practicing for a year in Seattle, Washington, she returned to her home state of Connecticut and has been practicing here ever since.

Dr. Dailey's special interests include surgery and anesthesia, feline medicine, dentistry, pain management and dermatology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the International Association of Veterinary Pain Management. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, doing the New York Times Crossword Puzzle, and spending time with her three cats and her dog.
