Dr. Michelle Aleshin earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia. She attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she completed a rotating internship at Michigan State University to receive additional training with board-certified specialists, and she always had a special interest in surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Aleshin is a Netflix enthusiast who enjoys scuba diving, skiing, rock climbing and traveling with her husband and pets.
