Dr. DeAnna Sundermann is originally from Kansas. She attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Prior to coming to Colorado Springs in 2007, she practiced at a mixed animal practice in Canon City, Colorado.

She and her husband Rick have two sons, one daughter, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and camping.
