Dr. Alt joined the VCA Broadway team in December 2015. Originally from New York City and a graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, she previously worked in a rural mixed animal practice in upstate New York. There, she worked on everything from dogs and cats, to horses and alpacas. Dr. Alt has a special interest in dentistry and surgery, as well as providing low-stress visits to her feline and canine patients.

In her free time she enjoys rock and ice climbing, fly- fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. At home, she lives with an Irish setter named Chester, a cat named Jimmy Bean, and Davey, the 28-year-old ringneck dove.
