For as long as Ashley can remember the only thing, she wanted to do growing up was work with animals. There was nothing in life she was more passionate about than her animals, and the other animals she grew up around. Ashley grew up in Peterborough and spent time on her grandfather’s farm playing with the pigs, chickens, cows, and horses prior to him selling it. Ashley worked at Jackson Creek Pet Services back in 2008 for a few years before making the decision to step away and go to school. She graduated with Distinction from the Veterinary Assistant Program at St Lawrence College in Kingston, ON. From there she worked in a busy 24-hour emergency/referral clinic in Ottawa before making the move back to Peterborough where she worked at Jackson Creek Animal Hospital from 2016 to 2019. She then made the move in 2019 over to Burnham Mansion Animal Hospital.

Ashley enjoys nutrition and showing people the benefits of feeding a well-balanced meal, as well as playing with gecko’s and other four-legged lizards. She likes to spend one on one time with each client and striving to give them an exceptional experience each time.
