Melissa joined the Burrstone Animal Hospital as a Client Service Representative in 2012. Growing up, she helped her mother breed, raise, and show many generations of international champion Yorkshire Terriers. Later, she experienced great joy as a professional groomer, operating her own salon until she had to close that chapter of her life for medical reasons. She feels privileged every day to be allowed to help others care for their furry family members. When she is not with her Burrstone family, she shares her life with her amazing husband Michael and her 2 beautiful daughters, Rachel and Danielle. She also has 3 fur babies...Doppler (a crazy Chocolate Lab), Melvin (a rescued Russian Blue), and the baby Bagheera (aka Supercat).
