I originally grew up between Arizona and Texas. I call Texas A&M my alma mater and I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's in biomedical science. I always knew from a young age that the veterinary field was where I belonged. I started working in kennels at 14 and trained as a technician at 18 years old. I continued to work as a veterinary technician for 16 years with a specialty in emergency medicine. I have worked all over the country in all sizes of hospital. I found Chiquita Animal Hospital in 2020 at the start of COVID-19 pandemic. I felt like home instantly! From the exceptional experienced veterinary team to the rambunctious diligent support staff. Chiquita is a legacy in the area and I am proud to be part of its journey. I have a passion for herding breeds, so it is no surprise that one of my fur babies is a Border Collie Heeler cross. I also have a dachshund and a one eyed cat. My passions include traveling, paddling and tacos.
