Dr. Springer has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2001. Having grown up in Maryland, Dr. Springer now lives in Mt. Airy with her husband, 2 sons, her two cats, Iggy and Wendy, and her two dogs, Lola and Penny. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her clinical rotations at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Springer joined the team at VCA Columbia Animal Hospital at Centre Park in November of 2008 after practicing in Laurel, Maryland. In her free time, Dr. Springer enjoys reading, trips to the beach, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

"Why do I love practicing veterinary medicine? It's never boring! My day is filled with new pets and people as well as old friends (furry and human). Getting to know my patients and their people and making them all feel at ease during their visits is really important to me. Caring for patients from puppy or kitten days through their golden years is a journey I treasure. It is an honor and privilege to share my time, knowledge and skills with my clients and their beloved pets. I can't imagine myself in any other career!"
