Dr. Rainer, born and raised in Temple, Texas, is married to Laurin and has two children, Adriel and Jace. They have two dogs, Gilly and Margo; two cats, Janet and Pamela; and beef cattle. Dr. Rainer is an avid sports fan and enjoys all things Aggie while spending time with his family.
Dr. Aaron Rainer received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science in December 1998. He received a dual degree as a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in May 2006.
He has strong interests in preventive medicine, internal medicine, surgery, mentorship, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Rainer has owned five veterinary practices, most recently, Triangle Animal Clinic in Conroe, TX. He is the co-founder of Animal Emergency Center of Temple-Belton™ and Gig™, an innovative veterinary staffing concept. He also owns Fetch™ by Dr. Rainer, a mentorship and consulting platform for veterinarians and staff.
Dr. Rainer has held several professional leadership positions in the last decade, including the 2018 President of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and its 4,400+ members and 4,000+ non-members. He remains the youngest president in the over 100 year storied history of TVMA. Dr. Rainer continues to play a vital role in developing, shaping, and implementing the strategic direction of veterinary medicine in Texas.
