Angela grew up in South Orange County and graduated from JSerra Catholic High School in 2007. She moved to Connecticut to attend the University of New Haven for her BS in Forensic Science and BS in Biotechnology. Upon passing her MCATs, she decided to move home to be close to family and friends. In 2013, she finished her Masters in Veterinary Forensics and joined the VCA team. She is in the field because of her love for the science and research behind medicine; plus she cannot resist an adorable puppy face. She is currently working on her PhD in Biotechnology-Biodefense at Johns Hopkins University; as well as becoming an RVT. When she is not working or attending school, she can be found at gymnastics with her daughter or hiking with her boxer, Stella.
