Jessica was born in in Colombia and moved to the Northeast United states when she was six. She attended both Southern Connecticut State University and the University of Connecticut. She became a veterinary assistant because she enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of veterinary practice. Jessica was a veterinary assistant in Fairfield, CT for 2 years before joining VCA Davis Animal Hospital. Outside of work her hobbies include drawing, painting, hiking with her dogs, and spending time with family. She has 3 dogs. The oldest, Rocky, is a Jack Russell Terrier with a big personality; Coby, a loving Labrador mix; and Benly, a Collie mix, who grew a little bit bigger than expected and loves chasing squirrels and jumping in lakes.
