Dr. Marilyn Bane joined the VCA Devotion Animal Hospital team in January 2022. She graduated from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine located in Glendale, AZ. Though Marilyn went to veterinary school in the deserts of Arizona, she is a born and raised NorCal native and went to UC Davis College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences where she graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science with a Pre-Vet focus.

Outside of work, Dr. Bane currently owns two well-loved house rabbits that she adopted while in veterinary school named Yuki and Momiji. She enjoys spending time with her rabbits, teaching her rabbits tricks, enjoying the outdoors through hiking or tide pool exploring, and more recently painting with acrylics. As a new graduate, Dr. Bane has an interest in exotics medicine and hopes to one day be able to provide much needed veterinary services to the exotic pets within the community. Dr. Bane also loves client education and working with owners as a team to help them make decisions in their pets healthcare. Whether dog, cat, or rabbit Dr. Bane looks forward to meeting each new patient!
