Stefanie began her career in veterinary medicine in 2015 with a veterinary assistant certification class offered by her veterinary clinic. She had initially studied nursing in Germany and became a registered nurse for two-legged patients! She wishes she had followed her love for animals into veterinary medicine right after high school. For many years, she moved where the military sent her family and eventually settled in the MOV in 2016. She began working at AVET Emergency Clinic where she met Dr. Kuchyt and continued working there for three years. She then followed Dr. Kuchyt to VCA Dudley Animal Hospital in 2018 and has been an asset to our hospital since then. She currently has three dogs, four cats, 25 chickens, a corn snake and a crested gecko. Animals make her heart happy and she is glad to help those in need with the support and care she offers.
