A 2003 University of California, Davis grad, Dr. DiCarlo’s career has spanned various roles, from emergency care to practice ownership, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine.

Most recently, he served as the MD and Owner of Willow River Veterinary Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. There, he showcased his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills by designing, building,
financing, staffing, managing, and operating a small animal and exotic companion animal veterinary practice. His dedication to high-quality care is evident in his certification as a Fear Free Veterinary practitioner, emphasizing his commitment to reducing stress and anxiety in animals during veterinary visits.

Outside of work, Dr. DiCarlo is passionate about continuing education and has participated in various specialized seminars and symposiums throughout his career. His diverse background, which includes experience in behavioral ecology and zoology, adds depth to his understanding of animal behavior and biology.
