Veterinarian
DVM
I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. We got our first dog when I was in first grade, and by the third, I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian . I attended MidAmerica Nazarene University, where I earned a BA in Biology . I worked as a Veterinary Assistant at a local small animal hospital for a year before I was accepted to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. I was involved in the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Association, the P.A.L.S. therapy pet team, and the South Africa Summer Program where I was able to work with a wildlife veterinarian in South Africa . My husband and I moved to Florida in early 2016 with our German Shepherd, Jemilah Lynn, and two ornery cats, Griswald and Barnaby.
I am passionate about making pets' lives better. I am proud to be their advocate when they aren't feeling well and I love educating owners about how to provide the best preventative care for their furry family member. My goal is to help clients make the best medical choices so they can enjoy the most time with their happy and healthy pet.
