Dr. Ashley Bennett received her DVM from Washington State University in 2011. She went on to complete her small animal rotating internship (2012), her three-year Medical Oncology residency at North Carolina State University (2015) and became board certified in Oncology. Dr. Bennett then stayed at North Carolina State University as a clinical assistant professor. Since then, she has practiced in private practice in Las Vegas and the East Bay.
Dr. Bennett was drawn to animals even at a young age! She enjoys how Oncology combines the best of two worlds. It allows her to be a part of an ever-changing field of cancer biology and also provides the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients and their families. She feels lucky that she gets to focus on the quality of life of her patients every day in the clinic. Her clinical interests include novel therapeutics and hematologic malignancies.
When Dr. Bennett is not seeing patients, she loves spending time with family, practicing Pilates, and snuggling with her Shepherd Mix, Poppy; Golden Retriever, Penny; and her cat, Lu.
