Dr. Eileen Fatcheric-Burns has been with Fairmount Animal Hospital since 1992. In addition to her role as veterinarian, she also was co-owner of FAH for 17 years! She is from Syracuse, New York and earned both her B.S. and D.V.M. from Cornell University, graduating in 1983 and 1988 respectively.
Dr. Fatcheric-Burns would be the first to tell you that her patients are her favorite part of the job. In addition to her work at FAH, she is also a contributing writer for Cornell CatWatch and DogWatch publications, as well as a contributing writer for WholeDog Journal!
One of Dr. Fatcheric-Burns favorite hobbies is competing in dog agility. Two of her dogs have competed in national agility championships! She also enjoys hiking, running, gardening, knitting, and reading. Her furry family includes two dogs, Dilly and Dandy, and a horse, Kelsey.
