Marie started with the VCA family at VCA Wingate Animal Hospital in Denver, CO. She transferred to VCA Falcon Village Animal Hospital in September 2011. Marie earned her Associate of Applied Science degree at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2009. Marie was born and raised in Southern California and has always had a passion for helping animals. She has worked with various dog rescue groups as well as taking in her own rescued pets. Marie and her husband currently share their home with 7 cats and 3 dogs.

"Growing up, I was one of those kids who wanted to help every animal I found. I helped many stray and wild animals in my life and always asked my parents, 'Can I keep it?' I love my job because it's hands on with the pets and I'm able to help those who cannot speak for themselves."
