After moving to Vancouver Island from Ontario to be with family in 2012, Grace worked at a real estate agency as a conveyancer in Sidney for the first 2 years then decided to go back to her passion of caring for animals. Grace worked for Broadmead Vet for a few months part time before being hired full time by Dr. Wilson at Shelbourne Pet Clinic in 2014. In 2018, after Dr. Wilson sold the practice to VCA, Grace enrolled in the Penn Foster Vet Technician Program applied and won a full scholarship through the VCA scholarship program. Grace is still currently working with Dr. Wilson and 2 other pet clinics that merged to form Feltham Animal Hospital as a Technician Assistant. Grace also works with a senior gentleman with Alzheimer’s and Dementia after hours in her client’s home.

She also enjoys helping everyone around her, co-workers, friends and strangers alike J

In her spare time Grace enjoys, reading, hiking, walking, road trips and spending time with her son, Morgan and their two Mexican rescues, the brothers, Simon and Caleb.
