Dr. Farnsworth is originally from Bloomington, Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois and received her Bachelor of Science degree in molecular and cellular biology. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduating veterinary school, she moved to Denver and has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian in general practice ever since. She loves all aspects of practicing veterinary medicine, and has a particular interest in dermatology and dentistry. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their pets and being a part of the team that takes care of them. In her free time, she loves all of the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer, including mountain biking, gravel biking (including bike packing trips!), snowboarding, and trail running. She's also a big music fan, and attends many live music events and concerts throughout the year. She has two big dogs that love running and swimming, and a senior cat at home that is a master cuddler.
