Dr. Patty Turmenne was born and raised in East Windsor, CT.  Dr. Turmenne recieved her undergraduate degrees from Becker College. While attending college, Dr. Turmenne  worked at the Zoo in Forest Park in Springfield, a large animal shelter in Bloomfield, and was the supervisor of the kennels at Becker College. She trained retired racing greyhounds during her college years as well. 

Dr. Turmenne then moved to St. Kitts to attend veterinary school at Ross University. At Ross she became the medical coordinator for the kennel dogs that lived at the University. She also obedience trained many of the kennel dogs and became a foster for a special needs dog. She completed her Clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University and received her degree in 2017.

While at Ross University, Dr. Turmenne fell in love with one of the kennel dogs, Selly, whom she adopted and has been traveling with ever since. She also adopted a kitten named Clarke while living in Oklahoma from a local shelter.

In her free time, Dr. Turmenne enjoys hiking with Selly, disc golfing, baking, and crafting of all sorts. She also loves spending time with her family and friends whenever she can.
