Dr. Emily Wade was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB where she made the decision to become a veterinarian at a very young age. She was fortunate to attend the University of Winnipeg, Biopsychology program, and the University of Saskatchewan, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated from in 2018. She completed a one year medical and surgical internship at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre in Calgary, AB. Following this she worked in an ambulatory equine sports medicine practice throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Dr. Wade has since settled in Saskatoon and has found her way to companion animal practice. She is excited to translate her vast knowledge of equine sports medicine to her canine and feline patients. Her special interests include sports medicine, medical imaging, internal medicine and dermatology.

When she’s not investing her time into the wellbeing of her patients, she enjoys running, travelling, horseback riding, and spending quality time with her beloved dog, Sako, and her fiancé.
