Daphne is a Veterinary Assistant with Gateway Animal Hospital. Before joining the team at Gateway Animal Hospital in 2012, Daphne discovered her love for pet healthcare as a volunteer in Clinica del Este in Puerto Rico from 2005-2009. Currently enrolled at College of Staten Island as a Biology major, Daphne has an ambition of obtaining her Veterinarian degree at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts.

When Daphne is not spending time caring for animals, she enjoys spending her time practicing karate, swimming, listening to music, playing video games, drawing, reading, attending Comic Con, and watching Anime. A native of Puerto Rico, Daphne moved to Staten Island in 2009 with her family and her dog.
