Angela joined the VCA team in June 2020. She started her career as a veterinary receptionist 6 years ago after leaving a 20 year career as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician who specialized in veterinary compounding of medication. She brings her love of customer care from her previous career and enjoys using this to make a positive difference in the lives of not only our animal patients, but their owners as well. Angela has helped many strays in San Antonio and surrounding areas find new homes through her volunteering and fostering for Heart of Texas SPCA K9 Rescue. She is always grateful for the opportunity to help educate the community on heartworm prevention, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of spaying and neutering pets to help prevent the stray overpopulation here in Texas. Outside of work Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling. She shares her home with her husband and son and their 6 dogs.
