Kayla began her veterinary medicine journey in 2018, but joined VCA Henderson Pass in 2021. When Kayla first entered the field she was pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, but after graduating she had developed such a love and passion for helping animals that she chose to continue her path in veterinary medicine. Even before finding her calling in veterinary medicine, helping animals was not a new pursuit. An animal lover since birth, she also has been active in dog rescue since 2015 and has foster failed many along the way. As Patient Care Coordinator, Kayla works directly with our medical team as a liaison between patients and their healthcare providers.
