John Pezzolla was born and raised in Brooklyn. John jumped into the world of veterinary medicine in the 80’s, where he “ran the show” at Cobble Hill Animal Clinic with Dr. Maddox who has since retired. It is his love for animals that allowed him to develop a passion for the field of veterinary medicine and devote his career to owners and their beloved pets. John has worked every possible position in an animal hospital from kennel staff to reception, assistant to technician, and bookkeeper to manager. He strives to combine his professional experiences with his great love of animals to create a hospital where every client, pet, and staff member feels safe and confident in our practice.

Outside of work John enjoys, cooking, baking, and tending to his tropical plants. He has a taste for scotch and loves his handsome rescue cat Zero who he relaxes with him on his days off.
