Rachel has been a resident of Las Vegas since 2011, when she moved here from Kansas City, Kansas. She has always remembered a love for all animals, from growing up at a daycare that had animals, to family households that always have and still have pets. She began pursuing her passion at a veterinary clinic in Overland Park, Kansas where she climbed the ranks from assistant, to (non-licensed) technician, to treatment area director, to practice manager. Her pursuit of warmer, sunnier weather brought her to Las Vegas.<.p>

Her family is comprised of her significant other, four wonderful stepchildren, a 10 year old gentle and loving Golden Retriever (Morris Foundation Golden Retriever Study Hero #2285) that was gifted by her previous boss and breeder, his goofy and sweet littermate (Morris Foundation Golden Retriever Study Hero #2286) that was adopted at almost a year of age as well as a 1 year old sweet, goofy and ornery Newfoundland. Her interests outside of the animal world include taking her Therapy certified Golden Retriever to help children, watching her stepchildren play sports, reading and relaxing at home.
