Dr. Virgin comes to VCA Keizer Veterinary Hospital after 11 years working at his last practice. Dr. Virgin is originally from Bend, Oregon, and has lived in the Salem area since 2004. He graduated from BYU in 2003 with a degree in Animal Science, then went on to graduate from Oregon State University in 2008. Dr. Virgin is also fluent in Spanish, as he lived in Argentina for 2 years.

Dr. Virgin has a special interest in surgery/anesthesia, dentistry, dermatology and preventive care for your pets. Being bilingual, he has been able to help many clients over the years understand their pet's care better. Dr. Virgin is excited to join the VCA Keizer family and looks forward to working with you and your pet. 

In his spare time, Dr. Virgin loves the outdoors - especially hiking with his wife. They have conquered many cool spots such as Half Dome, South Sister, the Grand Canyon, and Angel's Landing. Dr. Virgin loves music and is always looking for a concert to go enjoy with his oldest son or wife. He has 3 kids (2 boys and 1 girl) that keep him busy.
