Nikki is excited to be in the veterinary field helping our pets. Growing up she always wanted to be a veterinarian and was trying to take in all the strays she could. She grew up with horses, hunting dogs, and cats, and learned that working with animals was where she wanted to be. She comes to the veterinary field with 19 years of professional canine behavior behind her. She believes in positive reinforcement for all and is excited to bring this to the medical aspect of living with our pets.
Nikki has a wonderful supportive husband and two awesome teenage sons. She has lived with Bernese mountain dogs for over 20 years and loves the time she spends training and dabbling in dog sports with them. She travels across the country each year attending dog shows and supporting the passion she has for the preservation of purebred dogs. She currently lives with two Berner girls, Fergie and Winnie, and one Red Footed Tortoise named Lucy. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, reading, going to the movies, and vacationing with her awesome boys.
