I began my career in pet care as a professional groomer in 1982. In 1987, I took a receptionist position at a small animal hospital in Garland. For the next several years I worked various positions at that practice until taking the position of hospital manager in 1995. VCA bought the one-doctor practice in 2004 and in 2008, I transferred to a two-doctor VCA practice in Lake Highlands. In 2017, I found my "home" at VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital.
My husband, Glen (a veterinarian), and I have eight wonderful children between us and are grandparents to 14 beautiful grandchildren. Our three spoiled rescued dogs share their home in Sachse with us. Life is never boring, to say the least!
Glen and I are very active in local animal rescue and non-profit spay and neuter organizations. We are both strong advocates for controlling the population of unwanted and abandoned animals.
Glen and I are huge fans of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys (and, of course, Texas A&M Aggies). I enjoy going to games, music concerts and traveling, but my biggest passion is my family, two-legged and four-legged, alike.
