Dr. Forseth was born and raised in the Bay Area and obtained her undergraduate degree in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry from San Jose State University. Before veterinary school, she worked at VCA Lewelling first as a receptionist, then as a veterinary assistant, where she learned the importance of client communication and the foundations of basic veterinary medicine. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and has returned to VCA Lewelling to begin her career. Dr. Forseth's special interests are behavior, dermatology, and building relationships with clients and their pets. When not at work, you can find her watching the San Francisco Giants, reading, cooking, and spending time with her fiancé and family. Her family also includes a cat named Bella, two guinea pigs (Melissa and Sam), two crested geckos (Berlioz and Bagheera), and an aquatic snail named Gary.
