Karen began working at VCA Lewis in 1991 as a kennel technician. In 1997 she started helping her sister, June, in the grooming department, assisting with baths and haircuts. When it comes to pets that are boarding with us, Karen wants to make them feel like our hospital is their home away from home, and she makes it her goal to keep them happy and comfortable during their stay. There has never been a moment in Karen's life where she has been without a pet, and she currently has an array of different animals. She is the proud owner of Charlie, a lion head rabbit (pictured above); an adorable little chihuahua named Frida, and a Conure named Annie. Karen enjoys camping, crafts, and has a large assortment of horse collectibles and nutcrackers.
"My life has been enriched by my family of pets. I want to share my attention, love, and care for others' pets."
