Dr. Betsy Walters, born in Short Hills New Jersey and raised in Boulder Colorado, attended Stanford University and graduated with distinction in Biology. She attended UC Davis Veterinary School and graduated with her DVM in 2015. She completed a small animal internship in emergency, internal medicine, surgery and general practice at VCA PetCare in 2016. She is excited to rejoin VCA after working at another small animal hospital in the Sacramento area. Her interests include preventative care, dermatology and cardiology.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bryan, and two dogs, Samson (a two year old Bernese Mountain Dog) and Gordon (a five year old English Bulldog). She also enjoys playing and coaching volleyball, baking and spending time outdoors.
