Dr. Jiranek has been with us since June of 1999. He has been in the veterinary industry since 1990. He decided to become a veterinarian because he loves to work with animals and felt he could make a difference. He attended Kansas State University during his undergraduate and graduate school, completing his bachelor’s in Animal Science and Industry in May 1997, then his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 1999. After graduating from vet school, he moved to Dallas and joined Lovers Lane Animal Hospital.

He shares his home with his wife, Tara, and their three children: daughter, Grace, and their two sons, Cole and Mason. They also have two furry kids: Mia, his black Labrador, and Luna, his white Labrador. In his free time, he enjoys being in the outdoors, bike riding, hockey and hanging out with his family.
