I grew up and lived most of my life in the East San Francisco Bay Area in a small town called Hercules. I've always had thoughts of becoming a veterinarian since I was young and was proud to be the primary care taker of my family's pets. I graduated University of California-San Diego in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry/Cell Biology. I moved back to the Bay Area after graduating and worked for two years as an emergency veterinary assistant in San Francisco. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2022. During school, I worked part time as an emergency veterinary assistant and was involved with our disaster response club and business association.
