Veterinarian
DVM
Dr. Alyssa Cornelius grew up in Western New York, where she developed her love for animals. She obtained her undergraduate degree as a dual major in Animal Science and Biological Sciences from Cornell University. She then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at Cornell University (Go Red!). Her areas of interest are theriogenology (reproductive medicine), emergency medicine and surgery. Dr. Cornelius is also a certified dog trainer, Human-Animal Bond certified, and a Fear Free Certified Animal Trainer. Animal behavior is a huge passion of hers and she teaches AKC Puppy/Dog classes each weekend. When not in the clinic, Dr. Cornelius raises service dogs (seeing eye dogs and autism service dogs). She also loves spending time with her fur family (four beautiful dogs and a cat), and exploring the Upstate New York region.
