Marie joined her father, Dr. Frank Mondi, in the practice in 1985 and worked her way through each position of the animal hospital, learning the business as she went. Marie earned her CVPM certification in 2000. As a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), she achieved the industry’s highest credential for practice management professionals, demonstrating the experience, knowledge and commitment to the pursuit of excellence in veterinary practice.
Over the years, Marie expanded and improved the practice and its visibility in the community through media and digital marketing and grew the practice to include 8 veterinarians with 30+ support staff.
For the past 25 years, she has been instrumental in achieving and holding the prestigious AAHA accreditation and Fear Free Practice Certification. After extensive training at the Hollander’s Management Institute, Marie helped develop a unique, collaborative culture along with a comprehensive approach to pet health care. She is committed to the veterinary profession and to helping the NHAH team set and achieve shared goals.
Marie currently leads the practice in all aspects of business but is particularly interested in communication, team building and structure and organization. She is also an elite Fear Free Professional. Marie enjoys connecting with people, growing leaders at every level within their team, identifying challenges in workflow and working with the team to identify solutions to improve flow and best practices for the hospital and clients.
