Rachel began in the veterinary field when she was 16 for a private practice in Old Lyme. Giving her the tools she needed to succeed, she continued to grow over the last 19 years and has worked almost all positions within a hospital and currently is a Certified Veterinary Technician. Having faced burnout on two separate occasions, she has a passion for mental health within the field, and in 2022, obtained her CVBP (Certification as a Veterinary Burnout Preparedness Coach). She has a real passion for leadership, and has also taken on a role as a Penn Foster Success Coach within VCA to help everyone in her region stay on track. However, she can too continue to grow. She has Kona, her Boxer; and sidekick, Maui, her cat; Whiskey, a Chihuahua pug; and Lacey, a Scottish terrier. In her free time she loves to rollerblade and do Zumba.
