Dr. Nealy Shvil is a San Diego native. She attended UC San Diego for her undergraduate degree and UC Davis for her veterinary degree before completing a one year rotating small animal internship in Santa Rosa, CA. She has experience working in private practice and in the shelter, and is excited to be returning to VCA North Coast (where she previously worked for 4 years). Dr. Shvil has strong interests in internal medicine, emergency medicine and shelter medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her two dogs, Cricket and Eleanor, and her cat, Finley.
