I am a 2012 graduate of the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Immediately after graduation I moved back to Lexington, KY, where I had done my undergraduate degree, to take a job as an emergency veterinarian for three years. While I thoroughly enjoyed the unpredictability, excitement and fulfilling nature of the job, when my husband and I had our first baby, I made the transition into the more family friendly life of a general practice veterinarian. While I enjoy all aspects general practice, my areas of interest include surgery, internal medicine, and preventative care.
I share my home with my husband, Toby, my almost two year old boy, Henry, and my three wonderful mutts, Elliott, Jackson, and Rosie. We are thrilled to be welcoming another baby into our family in March 2017. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, photography and art, all sorts of outdoorsy activities, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
I am thrilled to be moving back to Grand Rapids to be closer to my immediate family and to meet the four legged family members who complete yours.
