Sam grew up in Vicksburg, Michigan, and currently lives in Kalamazoo with her boyfriend (Phillip) and her two dogs (Dani and Ollie). She has spent much of her life around animals, from horses and cows, to dogs and cats, and even a three-legged deer. Her family's farm started her love for all animals, big and small. Lately she has had the opportunity to help foster special needs dogs from a local rescue, and it has filled her heart with so much joy. She has always had a passion for working with animals and helping others, and loves that she has found a position that allows her to do both every day. She is looking forward to seeing what her future holds at VCA!
